Wilmington Park Swim Team

The Wilmington Park Swim Team is a summer youth swim team in Savannah, Georgia. The Barracudas were established in 1979. Each year we have swimmers from Wilmington Island, Whitemarsh Island and Tybee Island areas. The team enjoys competing with other teams in the Savannah Coastal Swim League. Our practices are held the Wilmington Park Pool. We host home meets at our pool and travel to other area pools to compete throughout the season. Annually we accept between 130 and 140 registered swimmers from ages 5-18 years old across various ability levels. The primary mission of our team is to introduce, educate and enhance the healthy sport of swimming.

WPST Registration Fees*:

• First Swimmer - $200
• Second Swimmer - $160
• Third Swimmer - $150
• Fourth Swimmer - $140
• Additional Swimmers - $125

Non-Pool Member Fee: $70 (one charge per family if not a Wilmington Park Pool Member)

Board Members and Year-Round Swimmers: Registration fees for Swim Team Board Members and Year-Round Swimmers are also discounted. These discounts will be applied during the registration process.   

* Earn $40 Rebate: You can earn $40 back on your total registration fee at the end of the season by volunteering. Sign-up and volunteer to help at four meets and receive $40 back. This rebate is limited to $40 per family.
